The point defense pulse turrets can take down smaller UNSC ships (think broadswords, longswords, frigates or smaller corvettes) with a few salvos, and all but the largest UNSC ships get one-shotted by the plasma torpedoes.

In Halo 2, Cairo Station focuses fire on Regret’s Assault Carrier while it breaks through a line of 300 hundred super MAC’s and takes little damage. While not as well supplied and large as say, a Super-Carrier, CAS-Class Assault Carriers are tough motherfuckers and all around better ship to ship fighters.
